Obituary of Charles W. Moore
Charles W. Moore, age 77, of Madison passed away on July 26, 2019, at the Merit Central Hospital burn center in Jackson. Visitation will be 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday, July 29, 2019, at Old Rice Road Baptist Church in Madison, MS. Funeral services will be held immediately following visitation at 2 p.m. on Monday, July 29, 2019, at Old Rice Road Baptist church with the Reverend Jack DeMoney officiating. Burial will follow at Natchez Trace Memorial Park Cemetery. Charles W. Moore (Charlie) was born in Pensacola, Florida to Charles and Lorene Moore on September 3, 1941. He married Joann Elizabeth Sellers on March 3, 1962, in Bay Minette, Alabama. He worked as a District Manager for National Cash Register Company (NCR) for thirty plus years. He was a veteran and served in theArmy for 4 years. He loved fishing and hunting and was a member of the Jackson Bass Club. He was an active member of Old Rice Road Baptist Church. Charlie is preceded in death by both parents, as well as, brothers Dewey Moore and Ralph Moore, and granddaughter Caroline Moore. Charlie is survived by his wife of 57 years, Joann Moore, his sons: Rick Moore, Mark Moore, Scott Moore, Todd Moore and daughters-in-law:Stephanie Moore, Renee Moore, and Kasey Moore. He is also survived by his sisters: Dorothy Glasgow and Wanda Bell, his grandchildren: Candace Moore Simpson, Lauralee Moore, Schuyler Moore, Jameson Moore, Cameron Moore, Mystery Moore, Christian Moore, Journey Moore, and Mery Sellers Moore, and great grandsons: Kayden Lenard, and soon to be born, Lane Robert Simpson. Pallbearers will be his grandsons: Schuyler Moore, Jameson Moore, Cameron Moore, Christian Moore, and nephews: Kevin Boyer and Bill Moore.
