Hi, I am a friend of Brennon’s from Ole Miss. I wanted to share with you the first memory I have of him and why it was so important to me.
My first class at Ole Miss was Biology at 8am on Monday morning with this teacher who spoke monotoned and didn’t want to be there any more than we did. I didn’t know anyone so I was just keeping to myself. I was so lucky to have sat in front of Brennon (actually he sat behind me because he was late. (Lol) ) Then he was stuck because it was assigned seating thereafter. Throughout the semester we talked a lot and he definitely knew more about his fantasy team at the end of class than any biology slide, but he quickly became one of my first friends at Ole Miss.
Every day after that class (M and W) we would go to the union and eat chick fil a breakfast before our next classes. I have attached a photo of us on one of our breakfast dates!
He was so kind and just such a good friend. He was a constant when my life was changing so much as a freshman in college. His introductions and inclusiveness are the reason I have some of the amazing friendships I have today. When I think of that time, I will always think of him.
I will miss his hugs and his laugh and the way he made everyone feel important.

Joe, Melissa and Abby-I have no words that can express how very sorry I am, my heart breaks because I know your hearts are broken. God has a plan and we don’t always know or understand that plan but we do know that Brennon is surrounded by his love and in his arms. I wish I was there to cry with you and give you a hug but know that I am thinking about you and praying for strength from God to get you through this difficult time. There is a song that Craig Morgan has released following the death of his son due to a boating/tubing accident it’s called My Father, My Son and the Holy Ghost—when you have the strength listen to it and maybe it will help the pain a little.
