Obituary of Mildred Irene Williams Atcher

Mildred Irene Williams Atcher, age 90, of Brandon, passed away on November 18, 2019.

She was born on February 8, 1929 to the late Marshall Williams and the late Myrtle Williams in Pontotoc County, MS. As a child, she grew up in Webster County and then moved to Grenada County as an adult. She was an avid reader and homemaker where she kept everything neat and tidy.

She is preceded in death by husband, Charles Byrd Atcher and two children, Linda Howe and Mike O'Briant; sisters, Eulah Geneva Sims, Ruth James, Faye Cook, and Mary Woods; and brothers, Robert Williams, Irwin Williams, Eli Williams, and George Williams.

Mrs. Atcher is survived by her brother, Charles Williams; children, Joe O'Briant (Carol), Debbie O'Briant and Cindy Simpson (Michael); 12 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.

Visitation will be Friday November 22, 2019 at Natchez Trace Funeral Home in Madison from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. A funeral service will be Saturday morning at 10:00am in the funeral home chapel with burial to follow in Providence Cemetery in Ethel, MS.
