Obituary of Jared C. Entrekin

Jared Cameron Entrekin, age 26, passed on September 7, 2017.

Jared was born on February 2, 1991 to Lynn and Julie Entrekin. A native of Madison, Jared graduated from Madison Central High School in 2009. He attended Mississippi State University where he was a member of the famous Maroon Band, and co-founder and President of the Wake Boarding and Ski team. He also represented State on and off the field as Bully, the MSU mascot. Jared was employed by C-Spire and enjoyed automobiles, boating, and spending time with family and friends. He was a caring person and always willing to help anyone in need.

Jared is survived by his Parents: Lynn and Julie Entrekin, Sister Lindsay Entrekin; Aunts and Uncles, Roger and Sheila Morrison, Gwen and Aaron Sellers and Charlotte Young; Six Cousins, Anthony Morrison (Alexa), Adrian Morrison (Kaci), Brittain Morrison, Hope Sellers, Dylan Sellers, Kara Sellers; Two Great Aunt and Uncles, Ray and Linda Grant and Homer and Bonnie Borden and Girlfriend, Raegan Pope.

Jared was preceded in death by his Maternal Grandparents; John and Diana Borden and Paternal Grandparents, Curtis Entrekin and Betty Jean Clark.

Visitation will be held at Natchez Trace Funeral Home Sunday September 10, 2017 from 2:00pm until 5:00pm as well as Monday from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. A service celebrating Jared’s life will be at 2:00pm on Tuesday September 12, 2017 at Natchez Trace Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow in Natchez Trace Memorial Park.
