Mary was born to proud parents, Earnestine and Henry Henderson of Yazoo county Mississippi on May 11, 1960 (they preceded her in death). Mary was preceded in death by her husband and best friend Lloyd Davis. Mary was a graduate of Benton High School, in Yazoo, Mississippi. She attended Jackson State University with a major in Finance. Mary served honorably in the United States Air Force from July 28, 1982 to September 3, 1986. Mary leaves to cherish her memory three children, Deeia Cherelle Williams, Silsbee, TX, Curtis Henry Davis, Jackson, MS, Xzavier Earnestine Davis, Jackson, MS. She also leaves two step sons, Lloyd Davis Jr, and Kenya Davis. She leaves nine brothers and sisters: Bobbie Henderson, Vaughan MS, Patricia Spady (Alexander Spady) Manassas Park, VA, Lillie McNeill (Anthony McNeill, Liberty MS), Yvonne Swan, Jackson MS, Dianne Nash, Wichita KS, Pete Hollins, Mary Stewart (Jerry Stewart) Yazoo, MS. Two brothers Lloyd Lacy and Earnest lacy both of Yazoo City. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews and a community of friends.
