Rone Quave, age 50, passed away on March 13, 2020 after a long illness. He was born on November 28, 1969 to the late Ronald G. Quave, Sr. and Brenda Lucius Quave in Laurel, MS. Rone has lived in the Jackson area for the past 20 years. He meet Keke Whittley 16 years ago and they married in 2017. Together they had a beautiful son, Remy, and Rone became a full time dad. Rone was a talented musician. He was masterful on the guitar and could play bass and keyboards. He wrote many songs, composed and recorded much of his music. In addition to his father, Rone is preceded by his maternal grandparents, William Thomas and Mozelle Lucius. Rone is survived by his wife Keke Quave of Madison, son, Remy Quave of Madison; mother, Brenda Quave of Madison; sister, Cappi Quave of Madison; brother, Ken (Melinda West) Quave of Brandon; aunt, LaNell Lucius of Chicago; and nephew, Max Quave. Visitation will be Tuesday March 17, 2020 at Natchez Trace Funeral Home in Madison from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm and the funeral service celebrating his life will follow at 2:00pm in the chapel.
