Obituary of Dianne Poe

Dianne Poe, age 56 , passed away on April 20, 2017 while being cared for at Baptist Medical Center. She was born on January 19, 1961 and was the daughter of Hilda Tutor McFarland and the late Elwood McFarland. A native of Clarksdale, MS., she was raised in the Lu-Rand Subdivision. A resident of Madison for the past 20 years, Mrs. Poe was a mother of two and worked at Ann Smith Elementary School as a teacher for children with special needs. During her lifetime she was also a Mortgage Broker for Union Planters Bank and graduated from the Miller Hawkins Business School in Memphis, TN.

Dianne is survived by her husband of 23 years, David Poe; daughter, Amanda Poe of Madison, MS; son, Michael Poe of Madison, MS and was a step-mother to Shauna Poe Sullins of Ogden, UT; mother, Hilda Tutor McFarland of Lambert, MS; sisters, Charlene Cook (Jerry) of Lambert, MS and Michelle  Dozier (Jonathan) of Marks, MS; brother, David McFarland of Lambert, MS; grandchild, Austin Sullins; numerous nieces and nephews and a surrogate grandmother to Tate and Tyler Bragg.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
