Norman A. Smith, 77, of Ridgeland, Mississippi, passed away on April 10, 2020 in Jackson, MS. He was born on January 13, 1943 to George and Hilda Smith at Dallas, TX.
Norman retired as a Elevator Operator for the State of Mississippi.
On March 14, 1987, he married the love his life, Elsie, at Broadmoor Baptist Church.
Norman is survived by his loving spouse of 33 years, Elsie Smith, cousins, Lu Becker, Ann Jackson, Ed Carruth and 2 precious dogs, Lucy & Sheba.
He was preceded in death by his Sister, Carolyn C. Smith, Father, George G. Smith, Mother, Hilda Smith and a cousin, Paul Ott Carruth.
Visitation will be held at Natchez Trace Funeral Home on Wednesday April 15, 2020 at 5pm-7pm.
Graveside services will take place on Thursday April 16, 2020 at 11:00am in the Natchez Trace Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorials can be made to Brookhaven Animal Rescue League (barl.net) and also to the American Cancer Society (cancer.org).
