Catherine H Williams, age 96, passed away on May 7, 2020. She was born on March 6, 1924 in the old family home place on North Old Canton Road. Her parents were the late Walter Leroy Hart and the late Marietta Culley Hart.
She was a member of Madison United Methodist Church and was a loving mother and wife. She retired from Madison County Schools but her life's work was caring for her husband Leon.
Mrs. Williams is survived by her husband of 71 years, Leon Williams of Madison, son, Walter Lee Williams and his wife Perry; grandson, Brent Williams and his wife Marsha; great grandchildren, Ian Williams and James Williams; and sisters, Martha Faye Minninger and Maggie Hart.
She is preceded in death by her siblings; Elizabeth Jorgensen, Ellanor Ellington and Walter Ray Hart.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1:30pm on Saturday May 9, 2020 at Natchez Trace Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name may be made to Madison United Methodist Church, 100 Post Oak Rd Madison, MS 39110.
