Obituary of Sandra Jan Simpson

Please share a memory of Sandra to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Sandra (Sandi) Simpson, age 64, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday June 1, 2020 at her home in Madison, MS. She was born on August 5, 1955 in Houston, TX. She was the daughter of Ray and Lillian Null of Magnolia, TX. She was the wife of Jim Simpson. After a short courtship they were happily married for a blissful 43 years. Born into a family who frequently moved she developed a love for traveling the world. It only took 39 years of marriage for her to convince Jim to take not one but two trips across the “pond.” Her favorite destinations were anywhere that had sand and an ocean. No trip could top the ones where she was surrounded by her four grandchildren. Sandi was a devout Christian and loved to worship her risen Lord and Savior. She and Jim were long time members of Broadmoor Baptist Church. She will be remembered for her ability to light up any room she walked into. She had the most infectious laugh and smile. To know her was to love her. She is survived by her three daughters, Jennifer Simpson Griffin (Brantley) of Birmingham, AL, Amanda Simpson Granberry (Michael) of Brandon, MS, Ashley Nicole Simpson of Birmingham, AL; brother, John Logan (Ellen) of Pasadena, TX and four grandchildren, Colson Walker and Kase Simpson Griffin of Birmingham, AL, Tenley Michelle and Tucker Simpson Granberry of Brandon, MS. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Broadmoor Baptist Church at 1531 Highland Colony Parkway in Madison, MS 39110.
