I always enjoyed visiting with Denise at our reunions. She was so warm and engaging. She really listened and cared about you and what you were saying or what was going on with you. My heart goes out to y’all, Kenny, Alyson and Aunt Bonnie and the rest of the family. I know there will be a huge void in your lives and hearts. I’ll continue to pray for your comfort.

A wonderful friend to have and to have known. She was dedicated to her professional medical field, her loving family and church. I remember when she continued her education with her degree in Nursing and continued earning her Master's and Doctorate. One day she brought me all her degrees to frame for her first new office. Then another degree. Then another degree. Then she was designing her first business card. Yep. You guessed it. Her Degree's were longer than her Name and since they overflowed off the card they were on another line. She was proud of her hard work and dedication towards her education she had completed. I remember asking her if she was through with school, she said no, she was going all the way for her Doctorate and have her own practice. She did it. Will miss our chats!

Denise was a special person and we have been in the same circles of healthcare for many years. She was always active in her professional organizations and served in many ways. So sorry that the Lord took her home at this young age. No doubt she is doing well and I am praying for her family. She was a rock for sure and admired by many. See you later Denise looking forward to it in heaven. Ann Barnes

I had the pleasure of working with Denise over the years on the American Heart Association ECC committee. Denise was a caring person and very dedicated to teaching CPR. I will miss her and will keep her and her family in my thoughts and prayers.

My admiration for this lady has no boundaries. I have always looked up to her since I was a young child, and strive to be more like her every day. She really is everything. A good servant to our Lord, a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend, and dedicated to her work to help others. She will be missed by many. She touched my life, and I'm certain other lives she's left an impact on is far reaching. Fly high Denise, until we meet again.
