He was my clarinet teacher and band director till I moved out of Sachem district in 1963. I also had his wife for music class. The summer after I left i learned he was giving a concert at Sunken Meadow State Park so I decided to go and he invited me to play with the band. Always will remember that great smile he had and always encouraging disposition. At 75 I still play the clarinet- alone but with uTube players. Thanks for the memories Tom!!!
