Charles L. Hunt Jr., age 68, was received into Heaven on his birthday, September 2, 2020. He was born to the late Charles L. Hunt and the late Elaine Wright Hunt. Charles was a native of Mississippi and attended MSU. He was a veteran of the US Air Force and attended St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Charles is survived by his wife of 19 years, Sheri Powers Hunt, daughters, Mandy (Dane) Taylor and Morgan (Daniel) Pitts; brothers, David Hunt and Mark (Lindy) Hunt; sister, Lisa Hunt; grandchildren, Maddie "Moot" Taylor, Knight "Knightman" Pitts, Banks "BB" Pitts, Emmitt "Emmee" Pitts and Smith "Mr. Blue" Pitts; stepmother, Lynn Hunt; and 9 nieces and 5 nephews. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his grandparents; Luther Hunt, Emma Hunt, Gov. Fielding Wright and Nan Kelly Wright. A Funeral Memorial Mass celebrating his life will take place at 11:00 am at St. Francis of Assisi, 4000 West Tidewater Lane, Madison, Ms 39110. Entombment will follow in the Natchez Trace Memorial Park Cemetery's Mausoleum. Due to the COVID-19 guidelines, CDC regulations will be followed. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name may be made to the American Heart Association.
