William Patrick Valentine, Sr. (1948-2021) from Florence, MS passed away in his home surrounded by his family on February 3, 2021. Pat grew up in Laurel but spent the majority of his life in the Jackson area. Pat was a faithful member of FBC Richland where he was active in the music ministry. He spent 32 years of his career in the car sales industry and enjoyed his retirement years at his home in Florence. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Marlene; son, William Jr.; daughters, Jenni and Kristen; and 4 grandchildren: Andrew, Claire, Norah, and Finn. He is preceded in passing by his father and mother, Doyle and Flossie Valentine; brothers, Doyle and Harold; sisters, Patricia and Mary Carolyn, and his granddaughter Taylor. There will be a private visitation held at the Natchez Trace Funeral Home on February 5, 2021. A private graveside service will follow in the cemetery.
