Please share a memory of Thomas to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Thomas Lee Fairchild, age 66, passed away on February 20th, 2021 at his home in Brandon, MS. He was the first son to Cleetis and Maggie Fairchild, born on August 7th, 1954 in Meridian, MS.
He attended Enterprise High School, East Central Community College, and the University of Southern Mississippi receiving a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.
Mississippi was the home he was born to, but also the one he chose. Tom believed life was for living and enjoying simple pursuits. He enjoyed exploring, watching animals, and hunting in the many woods of the state. He loved the seafood, gambling, and fishing provided by the Gulf Coast. Anywhere with a live band was a good place to spend some time.
Tom was a devoted family man who loved his children and his wife Deborah Ann Fairchild. Many years of his life were spent rearing and guiding four sons to be men of integrity in a difficult world.
Tom is preceded in death by his parents Cleetis and Maggie Fairchild.
He is survived by his wife Deborah Ann Fairchild and her children: Crystal Wood, Richard Pope and grandchildren. Former spouse Rebecca Fairchild and their four sons Stuart (Mary), Quentin, Richard, Charles J. Fairchild, and one granddaughter Isobel Fairchild. His brother Charles I. Fairchild (Roberta), niece Rachel Dickerson, and nephews Connor and Clayton Fairchild.
Respecting the deceased’s wishes there will be no ceremony.
