Vanna Marie Plessinger, 76, of Ridgeland, passed away on August 15, 2021 at home surrounded by family. Vanna was born to Thrasher and Laura King Hollon in Wolfe County, Kentucky. She and her husband raised their children in Ohio before retiring to Mississippi. She was a loving mother who cared deeply for her family and spent much of her time caring for those around her. Vanna is survived by her loving spouse of 57 years, Dave, son, Dave Plessinger, II (Kate) of OH; daughters, Dava Plessinger of KY and Deidra Rosenberger (Tony) of Madison, MS; seven grandchildren, Duncan Pope (Brittany), Abigail Pope (Michael), Piper Rosenberger, Anthony Rosenberger, Quinn Rosenberger, Stephen Rosenberger, David Rosenberger; and two great grandchildren, Bennett Pope and Michael Christopher Reed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Aaron Thrasher Hollon and Laura Ellen King Hollon; sisters, Flora Wells and Josephine Sparks and brothers, Delmer Dean Hollon and James Elmer Hollon. Visitation will be held at Natchez Trace Funeral Home on Friday August 20, 2021 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm with a memorial service to follow in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 pm.
