Garrison was an absolute pleasure to have on my team at the Board of Veterans Appeals. He was such a kind person and so easy to work in the short time that I had him on my team. I am so shocked and saddened to learn of the death of Garrison. He had made so many sacrifices to take such good care of his mother, my friend, Sissy, and I kept up with him after her death. He was a great son and so wise, funny and kind. My heart is broken to know that the world has lost such a sweet, funny and kind soul. I met Richard at Ole Mis and we bump into each other occasionally in Madison. Richard was and still is a good and smart guy.
