Lois Richardson Acy, age 78, passed away on November 8, 2021 at her residence in Madison, Mississippi. Mrs. Lois Acy was born April 27, 1943, in Skeene, Ms to Thomas and Birtie Lee Richardson. Her father served in the military, and was killed in action in WWII, mother was a homemaker. Her mother married Ernest Wilkes in 1947 and raised her as his own. Lois had a passion for gardening and the Braves. She spent her afternoons working in her yard. She was very devoted to her church and family. and above all else her love and faith for her God. Lois was a very strong and independent woman. She cared very deeply for her family and always wanted the best for her everyone. Lois graduated from Shaw High School in 1962 and went on to Mississippi College. That was also where she met her soon-to-be husband, Harold, whom she was married to until his death 1993. Lois is survived by her Two Daughters, Belinda (Geoff) Goodman, Renee (John) Gernertt of Madison, MS; Two grandchildren, Brandon (Sierra) Allison, Ashlyn Allison. Lois is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Richardson, Ernest Wilkes, and Birtie Lee Wilkes, Her husband, Harold Acy. Public Visitation will be Friday, November 12, 2021, at Natchez Trace Funeral Home from 2:00 PM until 2:45 PM, followed by a graveside service at Jessamine Cemetery in Ridgeland, Mississippi.
