Christy Lyn Roberts, 50, of Madison, passed away on December 30, 2021 at her home in Madison, MS. Christy was born on April 15, 1971 to Robert Collier and Sharon Planken Heard. A lifelong resident of Mississippi, she has lived in Madison for the past 30 years. Christy graduated from Mississippi College with a Bachelor's Degree and has worked for EMC as an administrative assistant for the past two years. When she was younger, Christy taught competition dance, and she loved to paint and enjoyed animals. Christy will be remembered as an awesome mother who loved her children. She was a member of St. Matthew's United Methodist Church. Christy is survived by daughters, Shelby Roberts (Noah) and Erin Hill (Tyler); son, Brett Roberts; mother, Sharon Heard (Harold); father, Robert Collier (Ann); step brothers, Bobby Ford, Spencer Ford and Kevin Heard; and a step sister, Jodi Flurry. Visitation will be held Monday, January 3, 2022, 10:00 am - 11:00 am at Natchez Trace Funeral Home with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 am in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be private at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name may be made to Webster Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 40 Madison, MS 39130.
