Obituary of Lynda Price Sowell

~Mrs. Lynda Price Sowell, age 72, passed away on December 2, 2017 after a lifelong illness with Multiple Sclerosis.  She was born on September 26, 1945 to the late Henry Price and the late Alma Kate Merrill in Gulfport, MS. A private funeral service will be conducted at a later date.

A graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi, Lynda lived with Multiple Sclerosis all of her life. She married Perry Sowell in 1967 and together they moved to Jackson. Lynda worked briefly for the Jackson Chapter of the Multiple Sclerosis Society and was a member of Raymond Road Baptist Church.

Lynda is survived by her husband of 50 years, Perry Darby Sowell of Jackson; daughter, Stacy Sowell Kaiser (John) of Madison, MS; grandson, Ryan Kaiser; granddaughter, Rachel Kaiser and a brother, Hank Price of French Camp, MS.
