William Clint Higbee, 85, of Madison, passed away on January 17th in Madison.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday February 19th at Ridgecrest Baptist Church with Pastor Phil Walker officiating.
William “Bill” was born in Kentucky to Eula Pauline Higbee and Lacey Andrew Higbee on July 29, 1936. Bill married Elizabeth Ann Goza on July 14, 1956 in Tallulah, Louisiana. He was a salesman for Capital Tobacco Company for over 30 years. Bill was an active member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church for many years, and he loved spending as much time as possible with his church family. He also loved the outdoors, fishing, camping, watching football, and spending time with his family and friends. He never met a stranger and always had a sense of humor that he shared with everyone. It was impossible for anyone who met him to not enjoy engaging in conversation with him and enjoying his lighthearted sense of humor.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Eula Pauline Higbee and father, Lacey Andrew Higbee.
Bill is survived by his loving wife of 65 years Elizabeth Higbee, son William “Bill” Higbee, Jr and wife Isabelle, daughter Carol Potts and husband Rick, brother John Higbee and wife Alice, Grandchildren Chase Higbee and wife Lacey, Meagan McKinley and husband Kyle, Logan Mason, Brian Higbee and wife Leigh Anne, Aurie Higbee, Andrew Patterson, Adam Patterson and wife Andrea, great-Grandchildren Hayden McKinley, Annalyn McKinley, Beckett McKinley, Mason Hughes, Avery Higbee, Briar Mason and Annabelle Patterson.
Memorials may be given to Ridgecrest Baptist Church - Madison, MS.
