Mary Joe was a dear friend of many years. She and M. S. were fellow members, first of North Park Presbyterian Church, then at Trinity and finally, after the passing of M. S. and my husband, Murt, together at Pear Orchard Presbyterian. Mary Joe was a wonderful cook, a genius with flowers, and most of all, a sweet and cherished friend. We had so many great times over the years. Our children were about the same ages, and Murt and M.S. loved to cook at the yearly North Park fish fries and men’s breakfasts. So many good memories. I will miss her on Sundays especially as we usually sat together at church since joining Pear Orchard. She was a gentle and sweet lady.
Deepest condolences to all the family. May God comfort and bless you with many wonderful memories.
