W. Russell Jordan Madison, MS Mr. Jordan was called home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on January 30, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. Russell was born in Fayette, AL to Ronnie and Linda Jordan. He graduated from Winfield High School and then went on to attend Beville Community College. He was amazing with all things technology. He loved his wife of 22 years. He loved all of his kids, granddaughter and all his family dearly. He was a deacon at First Baptist Church and loved his church. He is survived by his wife Simonne Jordan; children, Hannah (Scott) Wilson of Brandon, MS, Will Jordan of Madison, MS, Sarah (Justin) Elliott of Crestview, FL; grandchild, Abigail; mother, Linda Jordan; father-in-law, Charles (Sue Reid) Fortune; sibling, Jennifer (DR) Simmons of Fayette, AL; nieces and nephews, Karla, Matt (Rachael), Rhys, Meredith, and Lillian. Russell is predeceased by his father Ronnie Elgar Jordan and mother-in-law Sue Fortune. Pallbearers will be Trey Petro, Jonathan Hollingshead, Robin Carpenter, Matt Gann, Carlos Gonzales and Scott Wilson. Services for Mr. Jordan will take place at First Baptist Church of Madison on February 2, 2022. Visitation will be from 9am - 11am with a funeral service to follow. There will be a Private, Family Only graveside service afterward at Natchez Trace Memorial Park Cemetery. In Lieu of Flowers, memorials and donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Madison or the American Heart Association.
