Daryl O"Shea Carroll, 66, of Madison, passed away on April 5, 2022 at the Sonny Montgomery Veteran's Hospital in Jackson. Daryl was born on December 3, 1955 to the late Calvin C. Carroll, Sr. and the late Vera Myles Carroll in Monroe, La. Daryl enjoyed playing football in high school; and while in the military, he enjoyed playing basketball and ping pong competitions. Daryl served honorably in the United States Air Force and most recently worked as a technician for a Nissan supplier. In his free time, he loved to fish. Daryl is survived by his loving spouse of 37 years, Annie Hood Carroll, children, Regina Patterson, Cassandra Carroll, and Micheal Carroll; grandchildren, Chloe Patterson, Xavier Patterson, Maxwell Patterson, Colton Carroll, and Burklie Carroll; sister, Angela Carroll; and brothers, Calvin C. Carroll, Jr. and Gerald Carroll. Daryl was preceded in death by his father, Calvin C. Carroll, Sr., mother, Vera Myles Carroll, and sisters, Phyllis L. Carroll and Vera L. Carroll. Visitation will be on April 13, 2022 at Natchez Trace Funeral Home in Madison, MS from 9:00 am until 10:30 am. A graveside service with Military Honors will be conducted at the Mississippi State Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Newton, MS at 1:00 pm.
