Alan Lester Lewis, age 71, passed away with his wife by his side on May 12, 2022 in Jackson, Mississippi. He was born on October 12, 1950 to Willard Lester Lewis and Susie White Lewis in Ridgeland, Mississippi. The simplest pleasures in life brought the greatest joy to Alan. He enjoyed fishing with his sons, racing cars on the dirt track, and wood working. His reputation as a welder rendered him a significant asset in the local racing and industrial communities. Alan’s life was the representation of hard work, timeliness, and skillful discipline. His dedication to work and his rigid exterior was only outdone by the gentle kindness he shared with his closest friends and family. Alan is survived by his loving wife, Deborah Lewis; Daughter, Ashley Davis Cole; Three Sons, William Alan Lewis (Will), Phillip Alexander Lewis, John Michael Davis; Brother, Mark Douglas Lewis (Julie); Thirteen grandchildren; Gage, Ryan, Brandon, Tyler, Cole, Hannah, Landon, Isabell, Maddie, Myles, Tanner, Hannah and Case; Great Grandchild, Kameron; Nephew, Connor. Visitation will be held on Tuesday May 17, 2022 from 5-7 pm at Parkway Church in Madison, Mississippi with a memorial service celebrating his life at 7 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Parkway Church Family Life Center, Madison, Mississippi.
