Donna Lenz Price, age 69, of Canton, Mississippi passed away unexpectedly on June 13, 2022 at her residence. Donna was born November 14, 1952 to Don and Jean Lenz and grew up in Hattiesburg, MS. Donna began her work in the medical community at UMMC in anesthesiology and pediatric endocrinology before becoming the office manager for Jackson Asthma & Allergy Center where she retired after 31 years. She was loving retirement which was full of her many projects. She was the eternal optimist and always tried to find the good in everyone. She had an infectious personality that everyone was drawn to. She loved all things family, all things Tripp, all things Starkville & Mississippi State, and all animals especially rescue dogs and transporting them. Arts & crafts was her favorite and she had a special vision to see it and the special skill to do it. She could sew anything with or without a pattern and could do practically anything with hand tools. She was an avid bargain hunter - loved Dirt Cheap - if it wasn't a bargain she would either make it herself or do without. She loved the challenge of growing plants and maintaining her backyard pool. She loved life and had complete trust in Jesus! Donna is survived by her husband of 30 years, Mack Price; her daughter, Lauren Mooney, son-in-law, Paul Mooney and her absolute pride-and-joy grandson, Tripp Mooney; her mother, Jean Lenz; brother, Michael Lenz (Yvonne); sister, Brenda Lenz; sister-in-law, Wanda Nesbit; brother-in-law, Bo Price (Kay); her sweet rescue pup, Molly; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Don Lenz and brother, Tony Lenz. Services for Donna Price will be Friday, June 17 at 11am at Natchez Trace Funeral Home in Madison, MS with visitation at 10am. In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to CARA Mississippi, Mississippi Animal Rescue League, or ASPCA in Donna Price's name.
