James M. Moore, 75, of Madison, passed away on September 25, 2022, at his home in Madison. He was born on January 11, 1947, to William and Vera Knight Moore at Shuqualak, MS. James worked with leather when he was younger and became a butcher by trade. He worked a short time as an inspector for the USDA. He has resided in Madison 1986. James is survived by his wife of 46 years Patricia Moore, brothers, John Moore (Nita) and Jesse Moore. He was preceded in death by his brother, Billy Moore, father, William W Moore, and mother, Vera Pate Knight. Visitation will be held Friday, September 30, 2022, 11:30 am - 1:00 pm at Natchez Trace Funeral Home with the funeral service at 1:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Burial will take place in the Natchez Trace Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials in his name may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
