Carolyn Frances (Burkette) Hawkins, a beloved wife, mother, and granny passed away September 29, 2022, she was 85 years old. Carolyn was born November 13, 1936, to the late Clarence Eugene Burkette and Mary Ellen O'Toole. She's preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Arnold Durell Hawkins. She is survived by their 3 daughters, Cynthia R. Hawkins (Bill), Deborah H. Gullick (Gary) and Tracy H. Crain (James). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family extends its deepest gratitude to the staff of Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, MS for the love and care shown to their loved one during her time there. We will never forget your love, support, and kindness. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 1, 2022, with visitation from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on October 1, 2022, at Natchez Trace Funeral Home in Madison, Mississippi. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Ministries (450 Towne Center Blvd, Ridgeland, MS 39157).
