David Randolph Sisson, 68 of Brandon, MS, was called home to be with the lord on April 21, 2017 at his home. Visitation will be Tuesday April 25, 2017 from 10-11:00 a.m. at Natchez Trace Funeral Home in Madison, MS., Service will be Tuesday April 25, 2017 at 11:00a.m. at Natchez Trace Funeral Home in Madison, MS., with graveside following in the Natchez Trace Memorial Park Cemetery in Madison, MS.,
David was born on January 13, 1949 in Yuma, Arizona to the Mr. Ivie Lee & Mary Elizabeth Sisson. David grew up in Philadelphia, MS., where he attended school. After leaving High School David went directly into the United States Navy. David was Involved in the Vietnam War in which he served for 3 years and received a National Defense Service Medal & Vietnam Service Medal (4 Bronze Stars). After the war David spent most of his time with family and friends was a tug boat Captain running on the Ms. River, and was the main caretaker for his Mother. When the family was asked, what was David’s favorite thing to do in his spare time they replied, “He loved to spread the word of God”. Mr. David was a good man who would do anything for his country or help anyone in need. Mr. David leaves a legacy behind of courage, honor, and faith in which are all rare qualities today that we as Americans should look up to and cherish.
He is preceded in death by his father Ivie Lee Sisson, one brother, James Richard Sisson.
David is survived by his loving mother, Mrs. Mary Elizabeth McLemore Hutchins, one son, James Todd “JT” Sisson., two daughters, Tobi Christine Fulcher, & Jesika Dianne Stuart., one sister, Delores Stevens., two brothers, Ray Sisson & Keith Stevens (Debbie), three grandchildren, Edie Stuart, Jackson Stuart, and Andrew Miller, and numerous nieces and nephews who Loved him dearly.
