John Westbrook Robertson III passed away peacefully at the age of 69. He was preceded by his mother, Gwennette Robertson. He is survived by his four children, John, Jordan (JoJo), Serena, and Hayden, as well as his three grandchildren, Lana, Olivia, and Wes. He is further survived by his father, Jack “Bouncer,” his brothers Jim and Dickey, and his sisters Bess and Marie as well as his many cousins, aunts, and uncles. John will be remembered by all as the life of the party. He was quick witted, fast-talking, incredibly bright, and full of life. A man that constantly sought adventure, John had over 3,000 jumps as a sky diver and spent countless hours flying. He also loved cycling and spent a great deal of time outdoors tending to his garden, hunting, and working on home improvement projects. Known by his sky diving friends as Bookworm, he was also an avid learner and studied everything from psychology to theology. John will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He will be most remembered for his adventurous spirit, infectious sense of humor, and deep love for his children. His unwavering faith and dedication to God was a cornerstone in his life. While the world is far less interesting without him, his Heavenly Father gladly welcomes him to His holy kingdom. Visitation will be held Saturday, December 10th at the Natchez Trace funeral home at 10am with a service to follow at 11am. Flowers and condolences are welcome at the funeral home.
