Lan Nguyen of Jackson, MS had departed this world on 12/23/22 from natural causes. She was born in South Vietnam in 1957, escaped the communist by boat in 1980 and came to a refugee camp in Malaysia where she lived for a short time prior to coming to Jackson, MS where she had lived for the remainder of her life. She owned Rice Delight Chinese Food Restaurant from 1999- 2015 in Jackson, MS with husband for more than 15 years and impacted the community with amazing culture in the food industry. She was a loving mother, wife, and grandmother. She was thoughtful, caring, and respected in the Jackson, MS community. She preceded in death by her husband, Thanh Pham. She was survived by her children and grandchildren: Nguyen Pham, Kathy Pham, Tony Pham, and her grandchildren Morgan Moore, Kaydence Dishmon, and Jaiden Ray. Funeral service will be held at Natchez Trace Memorial Funeral home on December 28, 2022. Visitation will be held from 12pm -1pm.
