Kathy and Trey, I’m so sorry for your loss and pray for God’s love and peace to surround you now and for the tough days ahead. David always treated Brandon as one of his own and I know the feeling was mutual with Brandon. There were lots of great memories made and fun times to look back on and cherish..

While we only knew David a few months his love and passion was so obvious. His quest to know God and have that personal relationship with Him was so much of our conversations. We were excited about the journey and the friendship we had established. We now look forward to the great reunion where we can spend an eternity exploring God together. We miss David already, so we can only imagine what you, as his family must be going through. Our sincere condolences, Dr Russ 'Pappy' & Brendrella Houck.

Dave and I played many rounds of Golf together including being state four ball partners at one time. I think he beat me out of one or two Patrick Farms Club Championships over the years when we were both paired together in the final group. We often talked about our love of golf and more importantly our love of family. He called me some years ago and asked if I could meet with his son who wanted to be a pilot. I gladly agreed and took his son Trey on a tour of our hangar and told him all about flying. From what Dave told me Trey went on to get his commercial license and now flies for the airlines. Even though Dave and I haven’t spoken in a while I always hoped he and I could have at least one more battle on the course. I guess I’ll have to wait a little longer to see my friend.
