I regret deeply that I was unable to attend the Memorial Service for Barry due to health issues. I met Barry for the first time when we both served on the first Alzheimer's Association Mid-Mississippi Chapter Board around 1989. Barry truly put his heart into this need as he traveled the state helping organize support groups, mostly in the evenings, after a full-day's work. He was tireless in his efforts to make this infant organization succeed. I was proud to be serving with such a professional.
From a personal perspective, Barrry Jones followed the example of Jesus, our servant, in that Barry always was willing to serve others. Our loss on earth cannot be anything else but heaven's gain, and I thank God for having known such a person as Barry K. Jones, who I will miss greatly!
My prayers are with Theresa and Barry's brothers.
