William N. "Buddy" Wilson, Jr., of Gluckstadt, MS went to be with his Lord on the evening of March 3, 2023. He was 60 years old. Buddy was born in Hattiesburg, MS on May 4, 1962 to William N. Wilson, Sr. and Merry Linda Eckles Wilson. Even though his life was short on this earth, he lived it to the fullest. Buddy was a 1981 graduate of North Forrest High School in Eatonville, MS. He married the love of his life, Nancy K. Roberson, in 1984. He leaves his wife, two sons, William "Bo" Wilson and his wife Becca and T. Scott Wilson and his wife Hannah; four grandchildren, Riley D. Wilson, Kayla A. Wilson, W. Charlie Wilson, and Abby N. Wilson, and one to arrive in September 2023; mother; sister, Teresa Card and her husband Jim, and many cousins. Buddy is preceded in death by his father and a nephew, Spencer T. Johnston. His favorite past time was BBQ competitions and Catering. He had won many awards over the last 15 years. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 7, 2023 from 11:30am to 2:00pm at Natchez Trace Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 2:00pm in the funeral chapel with interment in Natchez Trace Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials May be made to St. Jude.
