Gloria was a good friend. I have known her for most of my life. We went to church and school together. We graduated from Madison-Ridgeland High School in 1969. Whenever we ran into each other we would spend time catching up. She was a special lady.

Jeannie has never had a brother, so she adopted me as her brother. I have always been her brother. The last thing we talked about was our date to see Doctor Zhivago downtown Jackson. We did a lot of window shopping after the movie and went to Shakey's Pizza Parlor for pizza. She drove her mom's 1970 Ford T Bird. She called it a land yacht because the hood stuck out too far. I spent my 1970 New Years with her and one of her high school friends. I will truly miss my sister.
