Warner Clyde Jennings Ridgeland, MS Warner Clyde Jennings, 89, passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2023. He was born on May 6, 1934, to Mary Francis Jones Jennings and Clyde Jennings in Salem, Alabama. Warner joined the US Army in 1954 reaching the rank of Specialist Second Class by the time of his honorable discharge in 1957. He graduated from the University of Alabama in 1961. Warner was a housing appraiser with the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Upon his retirement from HUD, he began his own appraisal service which he ran for fifteen years. Warner was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Madison, Mississippi and The American Legion. Warner is survived by his wife, Frances Garrett Jennings; son, Scott Jennings (Susan); brother, Tommy Jennings (Glenda); grandchildren, Kyle and Thomas Jennings; and niece, Kim Coale. He was proceeded in passing by his parents, wife, Kathryn Jennings, son, Jeffery Jennings, and nephew, Tim Jennings. Visitation will be at the Natchez Trace Funeral Home in Madison, Mississippi, from 10:00 to Noon on Wednesday, October 11, 2023. A graveside service will follow at Parkway Memorial Cemetery in Ridgeland, Mississippi. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts and donations may be made to Ridgecrest Church in Madison, MS or Stillwater Church, 619 Highland Colony Parkway, Ridgeland, MS 39157.
