Harry - I am sad learning of Jackie’s death. Ken and I have such good -well mostly good- memories of our time together at Lambuth and Jackson. Jackie was a lovely woman. I hope you are doing well. . Ken and I are still doing well enough. Pretty well but with usual old people issues. Our daughters are doing well having giving us 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. I was happy to learn your girls have children and you and Jackie have the joy of being grandparents. Nothing like it. Much love. ❤️❤️❤️

What a joy to share some of life's most interesting adventures with Jackie in Macon, GA, on Tucker Road. Jackie and I had been friends since grade school, and grew up about 2 blocks from each other on Windsor Avenue in Bristol, TN. She was always a sweet girl. We lost touch after high school when we went to different colleges. When I got married 66 years ago, we lived in Bristol, and she and Harry had lived away. I noticed her on Face Book and was able to reconnect and talk a few times in the last few years. I have very fond memories of Jackie. My heart and prayers go out to Harry and her family!!

I thank God for the sweet memories I have of knowing Jackie. I found her through her loving daughter, Jennifer, and immediately fell in love with the whole family. I am certain and I believe that Divine Intervention steered me to the restaurant where she and the whole family were dining a few weeks ago. God knew that I needed to see her sweet smile and let it be implanted on my heart for this day.
I will forever cherish all of the kindness, love, and sweet memories of Jackie Gilmer!
May God bless Harry, Jennifer, Kelley, John and the entire family.

So many memories of this very special lady. She was my son’s mother in law, a gentle lady and my friend. We traveled together, visited with each other in our homes and genuinely loved each other.
We’ve laughed together and cried together, we shared grandchildren, recipes, joy and pain. We will all miss Jackie’s warmth and generous smiles. RIP my friend.

Jackie was SUCh a gracious woman! Our family reunions were always a wonderful trip back in time when she would remind us of all the laughs and good times we had together.
She brought everyone together with her smile. We always wished we lived closer to her and Harry so we could hear more and see them more often as family meant so much to her.
She will be missed and our love goes out to Harry and the rest of our family. God bless us all.
