Judy was my dear friend since the 7th grade at Bailey Jr. High School. We graduated together from Murrah High School and were roommates together our freshman year at Hinds Jr. College. We were even accepted into the Hinds High Steppers that year along with about 3-4 other girls from Murrah. Judy's birthday was the day before mine and we always stayed in touch over the years. I went to several class reunions with some of our other close friends and the last time I saw Judy was when I drove over for our 50th high school reunion. Three of us visited Judy one afternoon that weekend and had so much fun reminiscing about old times together as friends and taking pictures that I still have of that afternoon with her. I remember when she told me they were moving on 9/1/2020 to St. Catherine's Village and how much she was looking forward to that new venture in her life. Judy was one of the sweetest, most kind and caring people I have ever known, a true friend and confidant, and I will miss our loving friendship and phone calls every year!
To her dear family I send my deepest sympathy and this prayer: Heavenly Father we lift your servant Judy knowing that she is at peace with you. We pray for her family and all those who knew and loved her. Give them your consolation and peace. May they rest in your presence as they gather together to celebrate her life. Amen.
