I spent time with Linda and Bubby at Rogers Spring we always had fun and peace together. With both of us having medical issues for the last many years, we would talk about them and make each other laugh instead of crying. “We are falling apart.” She will be missed by all that entered her path. Our family has a large empty space now but a even larger space without pain and suffering has been filled in heaven. I am so sad I couldn’t be there for your celebration. I love and miss you my sweet cousin.

We believe that at death “life is changed, not ended,” We takes some comfort from these words of Karl Rahner, S.J.
“Though invisible to us, our dead are not absent…they are living near us, transfigured into light, into power, into love.”
….and another writer says:
“ In The Tree of life Our Roots Are Forever Intertwined”
With their last breath
Those we love do not say good bye—
For love is timeless.
Instead they leave us with a solemn promise
That when they are finally at rest in God
They will continue to be present to us
Whenever they are called upon
Let us fear not, nor grieve beyond letting go
The departure of those we have greatly loved
For in the Tree of Life their roots and ours
Are forever intertwined.
Buddy and family,
I have been so blest to have known Linda and how much you and your family have enriched my life over the 45 years of your marriage. I know the sacrifices you have all made.
Lovingly,
Your Aunt...Sr. Imogene, OSF

Our deepest sympathy to Buddy and all the family! It takes someone really special to hold a family together when their spouse is career military. God rest her soul and give you all comfort in the days and weeks ahead.
Sincerely,
