Granville, my heart breaks over the loss of Shirley. As you probably remember, Shirley was the one who first put me on a piano bench in the Junior Sunday School Department at Briarwood Baptist Church and set me on a path that I still follow today as a church organist. She was a special person to so many, but especially to me because she was always encouraging and believed so strongly in me. I also never open a bible without thinking of her in Bible Drills. You, Tammy and Mandy will especially be in my prayers over the next few days. May God grant you all peace and comfort during this difficult time.
