MSG Clyde Henry Hall passed away at his residence on September 17, 2017 after an extensive illness. His wife, May Hall was by his side. She not only lost her husband, the love of her life  but her very best friend.

 

MSG Hall was a native of McComb, MS and lived in the Brandon area for last 30 years.

He was a member of the US Army and Mississippi Army National Guard. MSG Hall retired in 2008 with 38 years of service-

 

MSG Hall  held many positions with the Army National Guard but often said  he most enjoyed the time  he served as 1st Sergeant of HQ STARC (-) MSARNG , HQ DET CDR.

 

He received the Meritorious Service Metal (2) Army Commendation Metal,  Army Achievement Metal (3) , Army Good Conduct Metal (7) , Army Reserve  Components Achievement Metal, National Defense Service Metal(3), Global War on Terrorism Service Metal, Non Commissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon (3), Army Service Ribbon, and Armed Forces Reserve metal (2).

 

He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Lamar Hall, SR of McComb MS. He is survived by his mother Thera Marie Hall (Fay) of McComb, MS.

 

MSG Hall is survived by his wife May Hall, Brandon MS, Daughter- Danessa Etheridge (Brad)-Grandchildren Austin and Emma Etheridge of McComb MS,. Son- James Hall, Clinton MS, Grandchildren Caleb and Shelbi Hall, Starkville, MS., Daughter-Charlotte Walton, Meridian MS, Grandchildren Tyler Love (Cali) and Great Grandchild Evan Richardson, Greenwells, Springs, LA, Taylor Deese, Florence MS. Son-Daniel Love (Nicole) grandson Aaron Love, Pearl MS, Daughter-Valerie Ainsworth, Florence MS, and grandchildren Gabriel and Mya Ainsworth, Brandon MS.

 

Ms Hall wishes to thank the people that cared for, entertained, visited and brought joy and laughter to MSG Hall during his long illness.

LTC Sherry Fletcher, Paula and Larry Grayson, Melinda and Richard Simmons, Beth and Melvin Lamb, Amanda Morgan Hall, Marian Gullette, Shavon Gordon, and Bobby Washington, the VA Home Based Program Staff and St Joseph Hospice Staff.

 

A private celebration honoring MSG Hall’s life will be held at a future date
