Col Jack Buchanan helped me decide at an early age how to pursue my career in the military as the Vietnam War was surging. As the 1st Recce Sq/CC at RAF Alconbury, England, UK, he was instrumental in my formative years, by guiding me towards a very successful career in the USAF. I can honestly say Jack helped me make the decision that ended with 26 years of service to the nation, 15 years in the cockpit flying fighters, and retiring as a Colonel. May Jack continue his flying by soaring high and touching the face of God. Michael King, Col, USAF (Ret)
