Mrs Loraine Jackson was m first grade teacher. I’m 74 years old now and never forgot her. Even though it’s been over 70 years since I saw her, I still remember her as a great teacher and person.

Mrs. Jackson was my 8th grade home room teacher and she was such a beautiful spirit. I truly thank God for allowing our paths to cross making me the most rewarded. She showed us the meaning of love your neighbor as your self through her tireless effort of dealing with us preteens with love and stern kindness. Thanks Mrs. Jackson I’ve always admired you and wanted you to be proud of one of your students that you molded into a productive citizen. May God’s grace and mercy continue to guide and inspire your family and everyone you touch in your earthly walk. Love always.

Cousin Lorraine was the best friend ever, she was like a mother to me--in the best way possible. She leaves behind so many wonderful memories by being around me and checking on me at all times. There is nothing to say about Cousin Lorraine for a loss so great, a person who was cherished by everyone who knew her. For she shined so bright that the memory of her light will never dim.
With deepest sympathy and love to Cousins Fred, Rod, and Greg.

Mrs. Jackson did things simply out of the kindness in her heart, and never realized how much she inspired everyone. Her joy and enthusiasm were illuminated by her beautiful smile.
She was the teacher EVERY student wanted. She was classy, kind, caring and always smiling. She was the epitome of an educator and woman of character and class. She will truly be missed.
My sincerest condolences to her family, especially my dear friend, Greg, who is an amazing son and person.
Lamentations 3:23-26 (NIV)
23 They are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness.
24 I say to myself, “The Lord is my portion;
therefore I will wait for him.”
25 The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him,
to the one who seeks him;
26 it is good to wait quietly
for the salvation of the Lord.

Cousin Lorraine was my oldest cousin that I remember. She would always come to visit us in the Delta. She would come by herself and she would bring the children too. Greg and Rod were her sons who were close in age to me and my brother. It was always a joy when family came to visit. She would call you on your birthday and any other time to just say hello and see how you were getting along. I will definitely miss those calls and sharing a laugh or two. She always had a cheerful spirit and a smile. I will definitely miss her. I send my prayers and love to my cousins and their Dad, cousin Dr. Willie Fred Jackson.
