Cynthia and I were cousins by marriage. My step-dad, Emile Maggio, was Aunt Tina's brother. My mom, Doris Maggio, and Aunt Tina were best friends. I have many fond memories of Cynthia. We grew up together. We went to the Record Hop on Fridays nights at the downtown Recreation Center in Baton Rouge, La.. Cynthia took lots of pride in the way she dressed. She always looked gorgeous. I remember the time that she had Aunt Laura iron her hair. She wanted to try to straighten it. My Heart goes out to her husband, children and siblings. She is now at Peace and resting in the Loving Arms of Jesus.
