Dear Margaret & Family,
I did not learn of Fletcher's death in time to attend the services. I regret and am so sorry that I did not get to give you a hug, nor get to say good-bye. My life was changed during that prayer-meeting at y'all's house many years ago (mid 1980s) when prayers were lifted for my accident-shortened left leg. If I am not mistaken, Fletcher prayed for me from his wheelchair that evening. You may remember. But God heard those prayers, led by Fletcher, and restored most of the one inch of length I had lost after my 7-1-1972 MVA within HIS timing! [No longer do I wear a built-up left shoe.]
It seems that time and (a short) distance has separated us since that night, but the gratitude I have for The LORD JESUS, and for you both, still fills my heart. Blessings to you and your family as you continue to grieve the loss of an amazing and loving man, Fletcher Ray.
