Raymond “Red” Young Madison, MS Raymond “Red” Young, 46, passed away on October 19, 2023. He was born on March 15, 1977 in Starkville, MS. Raymond was full of love. He passionately loved his family, his friends, his work and his hobbies. His favorite activity was riding and working on motorcycles. He also enjoyed fishing and outdoor adventure with the Boy Scouts. He was especially proud of his son Abraham. He will be missed by all his friends at Got Gear Motorsports. He kept everyone around him laughing and surrounded us with his warm spirit. Raymond is survived by his mother Beverley Timmons-Wilson, his wife Genevieve Young, his son Abraham Young, his step-sisters Karen Fortenberry and Danielle Perry, and his step-father Dana Wilson, in addition to his beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. He is preceded in passing by his father Daniel Young and his step-brother Michael Wilson, his grandparents Royce and Kenneth Timmons and Roxy and Clarence Young. Visitation will be at Natchez Trace Funeral Home 759 US-51, Madison, MS 39110 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm on Monday October 23. A brief service will be at Natchez Trace Memorial Cemetary, with internment to follow.
